Welcome to ObsoPartsDepot.com (“Platform”, “Site”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Platform. By accessing, browsing, registering, subscribing, or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

1. Definitions

Guest User
 A visitor who browses listings and searches inventory without a paid subscription.

Pro User
 A registered and subscribed user who may view contact details, upload listings, and interact using platform features such as “I’m Interested.”

Admin
 The platform owner and operator (ObsoPartsDepot).

Listing / Product
 An industrial or automotive part listed by a Pro User.

Subscription
 A paid membership (Monthly or Annual) granting access to Pro features.

Interested Feature
 A platform tool allowing Pro Users to express interest in a listed product and initiate direct contact.

2. Platform Role & Marketplace Disclaimer

ObsoPartsDepot is a lead-generation and discovery platform. The Platform exists solely to connect buyers and sellers.

What We Do

  • Provide searchable listings
  • Enable contact discovery
  • Facilitate lead generation between users

What We Do NOT Do

We do not:

  • Act as a broker, reseller, or intermediary
  • Facilitate part purchases or payments
  • Verify part compatibility or condition
  • Guarantee inventory accuracy, pricing, or availability
  • Manage shipping, returns, or warranties
  • Resolve disputes between users

Transaction Risk & User-to-User Interaction

Any transaction, communication, agreement, or exchange occurring after contact information is shared is strictly between the involved users.

ObsoPartsDepot is not a party to any sale and bears no responsibility or liability for:

  • Incorrect, defective, or misrepresented parts
  • Payment disputes
  • Delivery failures
  • Business losses or damages

Users assume all risk associated with off-platform transactions.

3. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have legal authority to enter contracts
  • Provide accurate and current information

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate access at our discretion.

4. Accounts & Access

4.1 Registration

Pro Users must provide:

  • Email and password
  • Business/contact information
  • City, State, ZIP, Address, and phone number

4.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining credential security
  • All activity under your account
  • Keeping information accurate and current

4.3 Credential Sharing & Single Session Policy


 To protect the integrity of the Platform and prevent unauthorized access:

  • Your subscription is intended for one individual / business user only.
  • You are strictly prohibited from sharing your username or password with any third party.
  • The Platform allows access from only one browser session / one device at a time.
  • If you attempt to log in from a second device or browser while already logged in, the Platform may block access, require logout, or invalidate the prior session.
  • If additional individuals within your business require access, they must purchase their own subscription or request an approved multi-user plan (if available).

Sharing credentials is considered a material violation of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.

5. Guest vs Pro Access

Guest Users May

  • Browse listings
  • Search by part number and brand
  • View pricing and inventory data

Guest Users May NOT

  • View contact information
  • Upload listings
  • Use “Interested” feature

Pro Users May

  • Upload and manage listings
  • View contact details
  • Express interest in products
  • Receive platform notifications

6. Subscriptions, Trials & Billing

6.1 Subscription Plans

Available subscription plans may include:

  • Monthly Subscription
  • Annual Subscription

Plan pricing, features, and availability may change with notice.

6.2 Free Trial (If Offered)

ObsoPartsDepot may offer a free trial at its sole discretion.

  • Trial availability, duration, and eligibility may vary by user, promotion, plan, or time period.
  • A valid credit card is required upfront to start a free trial.
  • No charge will occur until the trial period ends.
  • Unless canceled before the trial expiration, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the then-current rate.
  • ObsoPartsDepot reserves the right to modify, shorten, extend, suspend, or discontinue free trials at any time, with or without notice.
  • Only one trial per user or business is permitted unless otherwise approved.

6.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely via Stripe.
 ObsoPartsDepot does not store payment card information.

6.4 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled prior to renewal.

6.5 Cancellation

  • You may cancel at any time
  • Access remains active until the end of the billing cycle
  • No prorated refunds unless legally required

7. Invoicing

All invoices and receipts are self-generated via Stripe and delivered electronically.

ObsoPartsDepot does not manually issue or customize invoices.

8. Refund Policy

All subscription fees are non-refundable, except:

  • Duplicate or erroneous Stripe charges
  • Refunds required by applicable law

Refund decisions are at Admin discretion.

9. Listings & Inventory Responsibility

9.1 Accuracy

Pro Users are solely responsible for:

  • Part descriptions
  • Pricing accuracy
  • Inventory levels
  • Compliance with applicable laws

9.2 CSV / Bulk Uploads

Users agree that:

  • Uploaded files contain accurate data
  • No malicious code is included
  • Errors resulting from uploads are the user’s responsibility

9.3 Moderation

Admin may edit, disable, or remove listings or accounts at any time.

10. Interested Feature & Communications

When using “I’m Interested”:

  • The interaction is logged
  • Contact details may be revealed
  • Emails may be sent automatically to both parties

By using the Platform, you consent to receiving transactional emails, including:

  • Subscription notifications
  • Interest alerts
  • Invoice emails

11. Prohibited Use & Data Protection

Users may NOT:

  • Scrape, harvest, or copy platform data
  • Use bots, crawlers, or automation tools
  • Reverse engineer or replicate listings
  • Circumvent subscription controls
  • Abuse contact access
  • Upload misleading or illegal content

Unauthorized Sharing / Multi-Login Abuse
 Users may NOT:

  • Share login credentials with any other person or business
  • Allow multiple individuals to access the Platform using a single subscription
  • Attempt to bypass session controls that limit access to one device/browser at a time

Violation may result in immediate termination, permanent ban, and legal enforcement where applicable.

12. Location & Distance Disclaimer

Distance calculations are approximate and may rely on third-party services. Accuracy is not guaranteed.

13. Intellectual Property

All platform design, content, code, and branding belong to ObsoPartsDepot.

User-submitted listings remain owned by the uploader, but you grant ObsoPartsDepot a license to display them.

14. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Platform is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind.

ObsoPartsDepot makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Listing accuracy
  • User reliability
  • Platform uptime
  • Transaction success

15. Limitation of Liability

ObsoPartsDepot shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Maximum liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid in the preceding 30 days.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ObsoPartsDepot from claims arising from:

  • Your listings
  • Your transactions
  • Your misuse of the Platform
  • Your violation of laws or third-party rights

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for:

  • Fraud
  • Abuse
  • Non-payment
  • Violation of these Terms

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Connecticut, USA].

19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.
 Changes may include subscription pricing, plan features, trial availability or duration, and access rules.

Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
